I was renamed in 2012.
Baptized in 2017.
And in 2019, I began to walk in my new name—Evelyn.

Every day since has been a journey of becoming—
a daughter learning who her Father really is.
A woman rising from the ashes of who she was,
to embrace the woman God always knew her to be.

My projects… my creations…
they’re not just ideas.
They’re living pieces of my testimony.
Every poem, every song, every design—
it’s part of my healing,
part of my worship,
part of my “yes” to God.

I’ve always loved poetry, theatre, music,
and creating beauty from broken places.
That’s how It’s Evelyn Studios was born—
one sacred space to leave all of me,
to show all of me,
and to reach the ones who need to know…
they’re not alone.
This is for the women,
the girls,
the hurting,
the separated,
and the abused.

For the ones still trying to remember their names.
For the ones who think God forgot where they are.
He didn’t.
He’s still calling you.
And just like He did for me—
He can rename you too.

This is who Evelyn is.
A soul saved and renamed.
A vessel for Jesus Christ.
A voice for the broken.
And a reminder that every ending…
is just a new beginning.

(Hebrew Roots: Derived from: Eve — the Hebrew name meaning “life” or “living one.”)
“Life restored.”
“The redeemed Eve.”
“One who brings forth new life.”
